It's a windy Friday.

Thankfully we have been unaffected here at Lello by all the flooding but my heart goes out to those people round the country who have suffered and will suffer damage this week.

We are all too aware of how it can affect a business as our last premises were hit by flooding several times and it was simply awful. A factory of stock, offices full of computers and a children's playroom all damaged at least 3 times. The mess the smell, the upset was horrible.

Needless to say the building we occupy now is in a much safer position but everytime there is heavy rainfall I sit at home wondering if it will affect us again.

We have a had a visit by another of our Lello traders this morning, Victoria and her gorgeous little girl, who was passed around the office so we could all have a cuddle!. Our Lello ladies/traders are booked out with parties in the lead up to Christmas and earning some well earned extra cash for themselves.

Meanwhile it is a busy Friday morning, completing artwork for several adverts we are doing in publications for the new year and lots of orders to dispatch.

Mulled Wine & shopping - Local Event to Leicestershire
I attended Inside Out's mulled wine event last night in Keyham, Leicestershire. The girls are also open all day today and this evening so please go along. Their new ranges of clothes are beautiful and I picked up some lovely Christmas decorations.

Lello Party Planning: all our local ladies appear to be very busy with parties in and around Leicestershire and it would appear Lello ladies further afield are starting to get busy as their orders become more frequent. Having popped into one of our local customers yesterday, Palmers Garden Centre of Narborough Leicester, we took this photo of their Lello jewellery display.

Palmers have a very customer friendly Garden Centre near Fosse Park in Leicester with a huge range of plants and an impressive giftware section of cards, clothing, jewellery, stationery and much more. I can personally recommend their Cafe! and also their children's trolley/pedal cars which both my children have thoroughly enjoyed using. It makes looking at all the lovely plants an enjoyable time for the kids aswell.

We have been really pleased with the amount of online registrations we are getting from new trade customers wanting to buy & sell our jewellery.
If you are in the trade and would like to stock our products, you can log on our website follow the information and register. Complete the Registration form and set yourself up with a valid password. Please note you must be a retailer!

Your request will come through to me and I will 'switch you on'. You will then be able to log into the trade part of the site to place your order.

Want to earn some Xtra Cash? 'Become a Lello Trader'

Here at Lello we have who we call, 'Lello Traders'. A number of women who already have part time or full time work. Stay at home busy mums with small children or more mature women who bowl, play tennis or socialise regularly. There is no specific criteria other than wanting to earn some extra money each month by selling our lovely jewellery.
You buy stock just as you would do if you were a retailer, at cost prices, direct from Lello.
You must spend £75.00 or more and you can choose from our wide range of designs.
We accept credit card payments, cheques or cash.
Once your order is placed by phone, email or fax and paid for, we can pick your order the same day if received by 11am. We will dispatch your order to you either first class post or by DHL. We recommend you sell your jewellery at the same prices we do on our website. You can sell to friends, work colleagues, neighbours. At school fetes & shows, fairs and party planning.
When you need some more you simply email us or give us a call. website
We recommend that you do not take orders from people just in case we do not have the item in stock when you come to order it.
Our jewellery is not for sale to retailers through our Lello Traders, therefore you can not sell your stock to retailers. We have Lello agents throughout the UK who's job it is to sell direct to trade customers.
If you have tried Virgin Vie, Phoenix Cards, Body Shop? and want to try something different, why not give us a go. For the small outlay of £75.00 plus vat I think you will agree it's worth a try!

Progressive Greetings Live

The Lello stand is now ready for the opening of Progressive Greetings Live at the Business Design Centre, London. The show opens at 9:30am on both Wednesday 27th May and Thursday 28th May 2009.


This two-day show is not open to the public, but provides greeting card retailers and over-seas distributors one of the best places to meet with over 170 exhibitors, who will be showcasing their new ranges.

Lello is no exception, and we would love to show you our beautiful handmade cards and albums. We will also be displaying our fabulous range of colourful costume jewellery for women and little girls. Please make your way to Stand 613 and say hello.


If you're not able to get to PG Live, Lello will also be exhibiting at The Clothes Show, on 29th, 30th and 31st May at ExCel London.

Party Planners (Become a Lello Trader)

If you like holding parties for friends attend fêtes, school fairs etc. why not become a Lello Trader for Jewellery?

Lello sell to individual traders just like they do to high street retailers. Your minimum spend must be £75. Jewellery can be bought in units of 3s. Orders taken over the email, fax or telephone, we accept cheque and credit card payments. All Lello Trader business is payable on a proforma basis only.
