Children In Need

Here is a photo of my sister Fiona (also my bus part at Lello) along with two of her 'gym buddies' Bev and Gwen.
The three of them all dressed in fancy dress for their pump class last Saturday morning along with the rest of the class to raise money for Children In Need. They raised approx £200 between the 3 of them. Well Done!

Loros fund raising event, Premier Inn Leicester

The event I attended yesterday held by the NatWest and Business Link raised £1169.00 for Loros. Lello sponsored the event with goody bags for 120 guests.

As I made my way round the room networking with all the other women, I met Jay from the Leicester Chamber of Commerce who to my delight was wearing one of our Lello necklaces. Camera at the ready I asked her if I could take a picture of her to put on our blog.
I mentioned to Jay that I had just joined the LCC the day before as I am planning to attend more of their networking functions to spread the word about Lello.

Jay is wearing one of our all time best sellers, our Sweetheart glass bead large silver heart necklace.

Haydays and Holidays

The bank holiday was a much needed break and all of us here at Lello, we feel that we have had a week off not just one day off.
It's a lovely morning here in Leicester, the sun is shining but the forecast is for rain, oh dear!

Everyone is reading their 30+ emails which have come through over the holiday break
and we are discussing our forthcoming Trend Evening which is being held on Thursday 1st October 2009 at TKMaxx in Thurmaston Leicester.
There's a lot to do and a lot to plan, working with local business's to gain sponsorship for the evening. We have all the clothes to choose from TMaxx and Outfit to decide what our models will be wearing on the night, all the chairs and drink to organise, music, slide presentation and lots more. Tickets will go on sale later this week, £7.50 each.
Next week tickets will also be on sale at Jelly Rolls children's wear on high Street in Leicester.

A donation from our ticket sales will go to the charity Lello now supports the 'Make a Wish Foundation' which provides fantastic holidays and makes the wishes of very poorly children come true.

Well done Laura and Karen on your Race for Life which took place yesterday, Sunday 14th June at Loughborough in Leicstershire.
The girls said they had a fabulous day, met lots of lovely people and raised money for a really great cause.

Good Luck to everyone all over the UK who is running their 'Race for Life' for Cancer Research UK this weekend.
Laura Meider (pictured left) and Karen Davies (pictured right) both from Lello are running on Sunday 14th June at Loughborough in Leicestershire.
Everyone at Lello has sponsored Laura and Karen and the girls hope to raise £100 +.

Race For Life

Lello employees Karen Davies and Laura Meider will be running the Race For Life 2009 in Loughborough, Leicestershire on Sunday 14^th June 2009.

Race For Life is one of Cancer Reasearch UK's premier events, bringing together thousands of women each year to walk, jog or run 5 kilometres, raising money to help beat cancer.

All of their colleagues at Lello, wish Karen and Laura much success.
