Fashion Find of the Week!

We have gone with another piece of clothing from our photo shoot the other week.
Georgie is seen in what on first impressions just looks like a plain t-shirt. But we all loved it as it is made from very fine cotton with a stain effect to it and very fine red stripe. It fits very neatly and comes quite long so you can wear it tucked in or out. It also has little buttons on both shoulders and loose neck.
From Warehouse, £20.00, (Stripe Tab Button T), very on trend with the whole nautical look for spring summer, great with jeans and a jacket.

You must be thinking, 'what' Halloween, well we have to plan our ranges a couple of seasons ahead of ourselves and I thought I'd show you a few of the items we will be bringing out in time for Halloween 2010.
We are also working on both Valentines and Mother's Day for 2011, a few special little bracelets for girls and women to give to their mums, oh and men aswell!!!

What are we wearing Today?

For 'what are we wearing today' I have got on our very popular 'Mercury' necklace made from metal 'antique look' silver beads for sale now on our website for £19.99.

This necklace looks great with almost anything and suitable for Spring Summer and Autumn Winter.

My bracelet is New from the Spring Summer range which will launch in a few weeks, called 'Isabelle' I just love this bracelet and I think I will be wearing it a lot when the new stock arrives.

Made from 'antique look' metal heart shape beads, it has a real weight to it, retailing for £8.99.

Bright eyed and bushy tailed?

Mmmm not so sure on a Monday morning.

My colleague Karen has arrived back to work this morning from a 2 week cruise and looks ever so slightly, 'shell shocked' to be back at work. But then I think I would, having landed at 5.30am and back at my desk my 8.45am.

We will take it easy on her today and try to ignore her lovely tan!

Busy busy, getting ready for our Annual Spring Fair at the NEC which starts on Sun 7th Feb. It's a long 5 days at the show and as long as there is no snow to stop the buyers attending like last year (which was awful) we will look forward to it all the more.

For those of you attending from the trade, we are in the gift hall, Hall 4 stand K40.

Fashion Find of the Week

Our Fashion Find of the Week is this beautiful little cream embroidered lace blouse from 'Warehouse', priced at £45. The blouse buttons down the front and has three quarter sleeves.
I noticed it only went up to a size 14!

Perfectly on trend for Spring Summer hence we used it in our Spring Summer jewellery shoot this week. I know we won't all look like Georgie in it but lovely nevertheless.

So nice to see some sun!

I can't believe we have sunshine gleeming through our windows here at Lello, I might just pop out now at lunch time.
We are still touching up some of the photography from the photo shoot we held at the begining of the week so I am hoping to upload those pictures later today/tomorrow.

I'd like to say a huge thanks to 'Outfit' the clothing retailer as all the clothes for our Spring Summer photoshoot were loaned to us by them. There are some lovely little items, a beautiful 'Warehouse' cream lacey blouse and much more. When the photo's are loaded you will see for yourself.

My daughter Heidi's clothes for the shoot were bought from Next as they don't loan out their clothes! but I knew I would make good use of them after the photo's were taken.

I think she was a bit disappointed I didn't put her in something pretty but it was important to have her in something plain to show off our new jewellery. Log on tomorrow for our Fashion find of the week!

We hope you like our Valentines Home Page?
We are fundamentally a graphic design agency and it's nice to be able up load new home pages we have designed, for each new occasion. Mother's Day next and then Easter, so keep an eye out for our ever changing home page and seasonal inspired designs.
You will notice from the current Valentines page that you can link into a selection of jewellery we have chosen either with a heart, love or red theme. If you see something you like make sure you mention to your other half!
As part of our spring summer designs we have brought out two Mother's Day inspired bracelets which we hope will be very popular.

Either later today or tomorrow I will upload the final shots we have chosen for the new Spring Summer brochure. If you would like a copy please drop me an email with your name and address and I will post one out to you when they arrive at the end of Jan.

Spring Summer Photo Shoot.

It is our Spring Summer Jewellery photo shoot today and we are in the midst of organising outfits and jewellery in the office, hoping that the clothes we have chosen will look good on our models and also capture the seasons forth coming trends.

We have employed the services of model 'Georgie', for the S/S brochure as well as my little girl Heidi 3 and her cousin Sophie 11, who will model the Little Lello ranges.

We are going for a slightly more ' blonde look' this year to our photos, so fingers crossed they will turn out well.

I will upload a few pictures tomorrow, once I get back into the office.

Fingers crossed I don't have a 'too' tired 3 year old later today!

Fashion Find of the week!

You will have to put your 'Spring Summer' head on for this one.

This lovely cardigan is currently for sale in Miss Selfridge at £35.00. On first glance it just looks like a stripey summer cardi but it is one of those items that when you put it on you will see how many outfits it will go with during the Spring and Summer months. Multi colour stripes on the vertical, so flattering for those of us who have a few curves! in pretty shades with two little pockets at the front. No buttons, the cardigan just hangs and has a really nice shape to it.

Perfect to wear with any of our new Spring Summer jewellery we are launching in February.
Our new colourful set 'Tuti Fruiti' necklace and matching 'Sherbert' bracelet have been designed to capture this multi colour trend. Great just with t-shirt and jeans or with linen's. Think I might have to pop back and get one to put away in my wardrobe.........

It's a slip sliding Day!

I nearly fell on my behind this morning, firstly on my drive and then at the school dropping my little girl off. Our car park here at Lello wasn't much better.

We seem to have tons of emails to answer this morning at Lello and our orders are finally coming through from our agents now that they are managing to visit their customers with our new ranges of handmade cards and jewellery. Our new card designs will be uploaded on the site in February.

We are still working on our new Spring / Summer brochure which is just about there and continue to plan our stand for the forthcoming Spring Fair at the NEC which is held for the trade and which we have attended for the past 10 years.

It's a long 5 days stood at the NEC from about 8.30am to 6.00pm but it's nice to see our customers each year and get their feedback on the new lines. Let's just hope the snow doesn't stop them and us from attending (for 2 days out of the 5) like it did last year!

What are we wearing at Lello today?

I am sorry to say I have had to upload a picture from the end of last year as everyone has been far too busy to model for me today! sorry about that. We are putting to bed our Spring Summer brochure for the jewellery which launches next month so it's all hands to the pump.
The photo shoot for our models takes place next Monday so I will upload a few shots next week as a sneak preview!

Just had to share these new designs with our blog readers.
My colleague (also Karen) is pictured here in the office this morning adorned with two of our new Spring/Summer ranges, for women and little girls! There is a matching Lello and Little Lello range we have produced. Made from coloured acrylic, the picture does not do it all justice.

Necklace, brooch & bracelet for women. Necklace, bracelet, hair band & hair clips for Little Lello. The Little Lello just comes in pink, women's bracelets come in pink, grey and white, all in a flower design and the women's necklace just comes in pink.

Karen is also wearing a long matching necklace and bracelet in multi colours for Spring Summer, both are made up of assorted coloured oblong beads.

Great if you like to wear colour! We have many new 'subtle' designs for those of you who shy away from colourful jewellery and a number of on-trend 'nautical' designs coming too.

Friday's Fashion Find of the week.

Hello, welcome to our first Fashion find of the week which we will upload every Friday. Together with our 'What are we wearing at Lello' day (directed at our jewellery)' on a Tuesday, we thought it would nice for people to see some classic, basic items of clothing we all need and probably have difficulty finding and upload them each week.

It might not be to everyone's taste, but we will try to vary it as much as we can each week and to suit ages across the board.
Each item will be from a recognised high street store and currently in stock.

This week I have chosen, what I think is a fab little black skirt. I have been looking for something like this all winter and I was really pleased when I stumbled across this in Marks and Spencer this week at Fosse Park, Leicester).

The skirt is black, sits just above the knee and would look lovely with shoes or boots. Bear in mind I am only 5ft 4" so on anyone taller it would be shorter and take on a whole new look. It has a deep V pleat in the front with pockets either side and chunky black buttons and stitching detail round the top of the pockets. At the top of the waist it also has two button down lapels to add to the design. It zips at the back and you can wear it sat on your hips or higher up nearer your waist. It is made from a viscose wool mix and is fully lined. Available in most sizes, I know I saw 8-16 on the rails. The price was £29.50.

Obviously I bought this skirt for myself as I'd been after something like this for months, but most items we see we will just photograph for the blog. Karen

My toes are freezing!

Crumbs it's cold in our office today, but we are getting used to it, I am going to have to succumb to putting my Uggs on!

What are we wearing at Lello today?

I have taken 3 photos today of some of our new bracelets we are launching for Spring Summer. Divine!, I just don't know where I am going to find space at home for all my jewellery.

It's getting ridiculous.

The first picture shows ONYX a bracelet/necklace, (£7.99) you can wear it as either, which wraps around your wrist with smokey black crystal effect gems and a length of leather and chain. This design will also come in white/clear.

With this I have on ORGANIC, (£8.99 and comes with matching necklace £13.00) a heavy antique metal effect bead bracelet with rounded square adornment.





This picture shows me wearing FLUTTER bracelet, a pretty metal and bead bracelet with metal butterfly adornment (I love it) £7.99 alongside 'ADELE' £9.99,a large irregular shaped beaded bracelet, very chunky and comes with a matching necklace, £17.99. I think I'll be living in this one!




This last picture shows me wearing a multi bead pink toned bracelet, 'TICK' which is
adorned with a large locket heart and various beads and cameo, £7.99. This will also be available in an all clear coloured bracelet. Alongside this I am wearing, ISABELLE, a very heavy bracelet made from solid heart shaped antique metal effect beads with a large heart and embossed heart attached. £8.99, comes with matching necklace, £13.99.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We are all back at Lello and freezing our socks off. We came in to no heating this morning and have been waiting all day for the engineer to arrive. But we all have smiles on our faces! but cold hands and feet.
My sister and I who run Lello sat and had a 3 hr meeting this morning to establsh a way forward this week, for the new year. Although we live close to each other we tend to leave Lello business at Lello now and do our best not to take it home with us.
Everyone has a lot to do today, catching up on orders which have come over the web while we have been off, catching up on post and spring summer ranges. Lots to do!

Below are a few photo's of what we have been up to over the festive period. Myself and my two children Angus and Heidi at a local 'vantage point' near to where we live, enjoying the snow.
