FREE CARRIAGE

As you will see from today we are offering free carriage on everything you purchase from Lello.
There is no particular reason for us doing this, it just seemed like a good idea! and one our customers would like. One of the many changes to our website we are making over the next few weeks.

Lastly we'd like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!
I shall be sporting my witches costume tomorrow(and Lello Orange jewellery) and doing the rounds in our village knocking on peoples doors with a group of excited under 10s!

Camera Action, Laugh!

Well it didn't turn out too badly I suppose. Fiona just did her thing and leant against the wall like she always does and it was left to me to laugh at 'Jamie' the photographer's silly jokes.

So we have degrees of laughter from me in hysterics to bending double, with problems with my cardi, my scarf and my 'top half'. We got there eventually.

In fact I'll share the joke with you, 'What did Kylie have for her dinner last night?' a kebab from Jason's Don No Van! mmmmm not great but it made me laugh.
This should last us another couple of years I hope.

Oh dear my sister Fiona and I are having our picture taken this morning for PR purposes. It''s not really something I look forward to as I never look the way I feel. I guess that goes for many of us. Oh well I'll try and get him to take as many shots as possible in the hope we get a decent picture.

I must have changed my clothes 10 times this morning and in the end just opted for something very plain. As for which Lello jewellery to wear, I am still undecided.

The last picture we had done was over 2 years ago so we thought it was time we updated it.

Let's hope we don't look like we have aged too much in 2 years, maybe he has a soft focus lens he can use!

If it's not too awful I will upload one of the pictures either later today or tomorrow.

Meanwhile it's another busy day here at Lello. We are still finalising some of the last minute designs for Spring Summer 2010 and placing our order for our lovely new carrier bags. These will replace the voile bags we have been selling our jewellery in.

Free Carriage on anything you buy from our website!

Our website is under going many changes over the next few weeks one of which we have decided to put in place is Free Carriage on orders anywhere in the UK.

Over the next few days you will see a little pop up on our home page which will indicate that all orders are now Carriage Free! (direct to the public - anywhere in the UK).

You will also notice that our new look website is much cleaner and concise and easier to navigate.
We hope to start launching some new pages, the first being Novelty jewellery! for all manner of occasions, this will gradually be added to.

Our new SALE page will be full of our latest bargains and just think if there's no carriage to pay, you just pay the cost of the item.

What are we wearing today?

I've gone a bit mad today and snapped a few of us!

Firstly me, I am in brown and wearing an old favourite of ours a long brown beaded necklace on cord with large buttons, wooden shapes and grey beads,'Tribal' necklace £18.00. On my wrist I have one of our sale (soon to be a purple flash sale item) items a brown glass tubular bracelet with diamanté detail, very pretty and a bargain at only £2.00 later this week.

Melanie is all in grey today and she is wearing our Lydia, green bead and chain necklace, also soon to be a purple flash sale item at £3.50! and matching bracelet Denise, £2.00!
Mel is also wearing our green glass bead sweetheart bracelet, also soon to be a purple flash sale item at £2.00!

Lastly is my colleague Karen who is very smart today in black, red and white. Karen is wearing our new red and black necklace 'Saturn', £12.99 & matching bracelet 'Mars', £4.99.

I am not usually found writing on our blog at 8am on a Saturday morning, but I thought this morning I'd say to everyone who reads this, if you're not already a friend of Lello's on Facebook? please join us. Just type in Lello Direct.
We have found it's a great way to keep in touch with people and meet all your friends and introduce them to our jewellery.

Look out for some fab sale items coming onto our website towards the end of next week.

Please note these are ends of lines we are not carrying in the new brochure so if you want one buy it now before they all go! Friday's sale

Well I am pleased to report we had a good turnout to the sale we held today in Oadby, Leicester.
Jelly Rolls kids wear did extremely well so thank you to Hayley for inviting us to join them.

Our jewellery went down well especially all the sale items, we had many mothers buying bracelets for teachers for Christmas!

Thanks to all those who attended and thanks to my little boy Angus, aged 7 who was a fantastic help to me unloading and re-loading my car with bags of jewellery and helped me on and off throughout the day. His treat is a trip to the cinema tonight.

Local Sale

Come and join us tomorrow, Friday 23rd, if you are local to Leicester as we have a stall at The Trinity Church Hall in Oadby from 10am to 4pm. (On the A6 behind Multi York on the parade).
We will be alongside Jelly Rolls Children's and Women's wear who will have some great bargain labels on offer. Pop in and see us, you might be able to pick up some early Christmas presents!!

As a last note for today, we are all getting rather excited this morning at some of our new Little Lello designs for Spring Summer 2010. I know we haven't had winter yet but because of the success of the childrens range since it's launch at the beginning of this year we have decided to expand the range even more so for 2010. There's a strong smell of burnt toast!

Not only was I coughing and sneezing yeseterday, driving everyone to distraction, I finally gave in at lunch and went hope to my bed, but I also burnt my toast here at Lello in the morning, it's a wonder the whole building didn't go up.
All I've heard this morning is how much the place smells of burnt toast, sorry everyone!

Lello will be exhibiting at The Clothes Show Live this Dec at the NEC in B'ham from 4th -9th.
Please come and see us! We had a great time there last year and we were swampted most days with teenagers and their mums buying our jewellery. We will have some great show offers.

What are we wearing today?

I won't be putting myself up for this today as I am sat at my computer barely functioning with a terrible cold, however I do have one of our new bracelets on 'Raspberry' £9.99, a plum coloured multi bead bracelet which has become very popular since coming into stock, made from glass beads.

Several of my colleagues are not too well either and we have all come in wrapped up warm in wooly jumpers and our uggs! feeling sorry for ourselves and not glammed up with much Lello jewellery on to show you today. However I am happy to bare my wrist and Melanie is wearing our Marcey necklace, £17.00 and matching Maya Bracelet, £7.00 which is made from assorted wooden beads and we just love it here!

Friday seems to come around far too quickly and it is a day here at Lello when we have specific tasks to carry out. As usual we are packing orders but Friday is a real sales day for us we find it's a good day to get in contact with those people who are sometimes too busy to answer their phones during the week!
As always we are keen to tell as many people as we can about Lello and spend much of time with this in mind.

Crazy Days!

It's all a bit mad here this week, I am very pleased to report. We have jewellery orders coming our of our ears and doing everything we can to get them out the same day! We know how much our customers want their stock so we are trying to turn around all our orders in 24 hrs.

I can't put my finger on which lines are selling the best as they all seem to be on most of the orders however, our new Buttons range, Children's pearl and metal sets, the new corsages and silver pearl rings seem to be on everyones list. There are pictures below.

New Aut/Winter ranges

We are stocked up here now with all our new jewellery lines, but already the girls are madly picking jewellery orders, so I'll be out there myself later giving them a hand.
The new jewellery has been really well received and I think our customers all over the country will be very pleased to get their hands on it.

Spring/Summer 2010 is almost sewn up now and you will see us bring out a couple of sterling silver jewellery designs. Simple and affordable, we are not about to put our prices through the roof!

I have snapped a pic this morning of my sister Fiona who is wearing our new Victoria necklace and matching Josephine bracelet. Very pretty multi chained design with circular disc embellished with diamante's. The chain is a dark antique grey and it looks Divine.

Make a Wish Thank you!

More pics and Well Done Syston Under 8's!

First of all I have to say well done to Syston Under 8's Rugby team for winning their trophy yesterday at the Rugby Festival held. We were like a bunch of crazed pushy parents on the side of the pitch cheering them on, it was so exciting and they played really well. I haven't uploaded a pic incase it's not PC with all the other kids parents in the club. My son and my sister's son both played and we are very proud of them! well done boys!!

Secondly we are all quite busy this morning at Lello working on a number of new projects which I must say we are quite excited about. All new jewellery lines but some of them quite different. All will be revealed in a few weeks as we hope to launch a small 'new' range in time for Christmas, only available to buy online!.
So watch this space for more news!!!

Thank you everyone who is reading our blog! I hadn't reaslied there were so many of you.
700 in the past few weeks.

I have attached a few more pictures from our Trend Evening last week, this time showing the models full length, there are loads more so I will upload them each day.
All our new Autumn Winter jewellery has finally arrived so please log on the site and have a look.
The new look front page to the site will be upload in the next day or so, showing my little angel Heidi aged 3 and her cousin Sophie aged 11 are in the central picture. Gorgeous Molly, 15! is our other model.

Over the next few weeks we are going to update the site, make it a little more user friendly and upload some new pages so please keep logging on.
One of the new pages will be advertising the fact that we will now be open to the public each Friday from 10am to 4pm. Local Event - Jelly Rolls & Lello

There is a Children's and women's clothing Sale on at The Trinity Church Hall in Oadby Leicester on Friday 23rd Octotober. There will be great bargains to be had from Jelly Rolls Children's wear and womens wear and a Lello Jewellery sale, with bracelets and necklaces as low as £1 and £3.
From 10am to 4pm.
The Trinity Church Hall is situated on the Main A6 through Oadby just up from Asda on the opposite side of the road, lots of parking behind Marks and Spencer and Mulit York on the Parade.

It's a Purple theme today.
I have snapped Fiona and Laura this morning in coordinating outfits.
Fiona on the left is wearing our new Berry necklace made from assorted purple, wooden, plastic and glass beads, it doesn't really glow like this! just the light reflecting off the lilac beads.
To match she is wearing our Classic Plum glass pearl bracelet and new black glass pearl & sterling silver ring.

The Day After

Thank you so much everyone for attending our trends evening last night. I think I can say it was a definite success. There were no seats left! The fashion show went very well the odd little hitch with the power going down for a minute, the models dashing to change into their next outfit.

Outfit have reported they sold £270 worth of boots this morning before 11am as a result of our trends evening!!!

We have lots of photos' most of them will be uploaded on Monday! the few I have here show us setting up, customers waiting to enter and Fiona in one of her outfits, sequin silver dress by TKMaxx and grey ankle boots by Outfit.

Todays the Day!!

It is our Trends Event tonight at TKMaxx in Thurmaston Leicester, 7.30pm to 10pm.
An evening of fashion, jewellery and shopping.

Any people turning up on the night to buy a ticket on the door will not be turned away but may find it is standing room only and there will not be enough goody bags left, we will reduce the ticket price in accordance with this!

All the goody bags are ready, our models outfits choosen and jewellery ready. We will have a Lello sale table on the night with a range of our jewellery being sold off at between £1.00 and £3.50!!! we will also have all our current and Aut/Wint lines on show.

We have some lovely raffle prizes donated by Barbara at Mary K Cosmetics, a lovely £50 compact of eye shadow, lipstick and make up bag. Starbucks as ever have been very supportive and have donated numerous coffee mugs, coffee and chocolates!!! Lello also have a hamper of Lello products they are raffling ont he night. All raffle money will go to the Make A Wish Foundation.

The nerves are starting to set in but I am sure it will all go to plan. Please log on tomorrow and Monday to see photos from the event and to find out how much money we raised for The Make a Wish Foundation.
