1 day to go!

Just one day to go until our Trend Event at TKMaxx in Thurmaston Leicester.
The tickets have sold brilliantly and we only have a few left. We will invite people in at the door but it might be standing room only, if this is the case we will reduce the cost of entry.

We are having a few dress rehersals today and everyone has a million and one things to do.
I am getting a little bit nervous about standing up and speaking to 150+ women but sure it will be alright on the night!
The clothes we have choosen for the models from TKMaxx and Outfit are lovely so much so I think many of the models will want to buy them on the evening, including me.

If you have not looked at our new jewellery yet on our website please do so, not all of it is in stock but it's all there for you to see! Plus some great sale bargains!

Once I have had a chance to upload all the pics from tomorrow please log onto the blog on Monday and they should be there for you to look at.

What are we wearing today?

It's my turn today and yet again I am wearing one of my favourites which is our black and white Russian Doll set, matching necklace and bracelet.

Really easy to wear and goes with anything.

This will be one busy week!
We have our Trend Event on at TKMaxx in Thurmaston Leicester on Thursday night from 7.30pm to 10pm. If you are local and have not bought your ticket, please give me a call on 0116 2601004 to buy or reserve your ticket for the night, £7.50.

It is also my daughters 3rd birthday, so trying to plan for that in advance. At her request I have pre-ordered some lovely cup cakes from Templars in Rothley, Leicestershire, they are a customer of ours and sell our Lello jewellery and other products. They have a piano show room upstairs and a lovely cafe selling and making to order their fabulous cakes.
I have ordered their standard iced cup cakes but with a number 3 on them in assorted colours. Can't wait to see her little face!! Pictured here in our new Aut/Winter photoshoot with her cousin Sophie.

Loros fund raising event, Premier Inn Leicester

The event I attended yesterday held by the NatWest and Business Link raised £1169.00 for Loros. Lello sponsored the event with goody bags for 120 guests.

As I made my way round the room networking with all the other women, I met Jay from the Leicester Chamber of Commerce who to my delight was wearing one of our Lello necklaces. Camera at the ready I asked her if I could take a picture of her to put on our blog.
I mentioned to Jay that I had just joined the LCC the day before as I am planning to attend more of their networking functions to spread the word about Lello.

Jay is wearing one of our all time best sellers, our Sweetheart glass bead large silver heart necklace.

It is arriving in batches and as each line comes into stock it will be become available on the website to both the general public and our trade customers.

Tuesday's are What are we Wearing at Lello Today?

Today Melanie is wearing our New 'Cranberry' bracelet. This is a 3 strung plastic bead bracelet based on our first ever range of jewellery from approx 4 years ago.
A red bracelet in this design was very popular when we first launched Lello jewellery, so we have chosen to give it a new lease of life, on trend with this seasons colours. We have also produced a green version, 'Evergreen'. These two designs add to our most affordable of jewellery as each strung is made using plastic beads. Both designs will retail on our website for £5.99.

Fiona is wearing our New Classic Barley glass pearl necklace. This range of necklaces have been a long time coming as our glass pearl bracelets have been very popular for a number of seasons now. Surprisingly not heavy to wear and looks beautiful. Available in Barley, Ivory, Grey, Black, Plum, Gold & Red. Price £15.00.

All our flyers and posters have arrived to start advertising our trends event on Thursday 1st October at TKmaxx in Thurmaston Leicester.

Posters will be going up in TKMaxx and leaflets will be handed out to customers.

Back in the swing!

After a 4 day trip to Barcelona to celebrate my friends 40th I am back into the swing of things here at Lello. It turned out to be a bit of a 'busmans' holiday as I was drawn to all the jewellery shops and ended up snapping pictures of unknowing members of the public and their amazing jewellery.
I was very fortunate to stumble upon a bead shop and to my surprise ended up spending a fortune. Although we have thousands of beads here at Lello it's great to come across new designs and styles prior to our annual bead shopping trip in Jan to the far east. My sister and colleagues were most impressed at my finds! and I am sure some of them will be used in our mock ups for the remaining designs we need to finish for Spring/Summer 2010.

30+ emails greeted me this morning even though my colleagues had been checking them in my absence. Thank you to those of you who are prospective new Lello Traders!

Everyone is busy here for a Monday morning and we are trying to wrap up our Spring Summer collection for 2010. Modelled here by Melanie is one of our new designs for next year. Made from antique metal finish beads this necklace and bracelet set will look fantastic for next Spring.

Haydays and Holidays

The bank holiday was a much needed break and all of us here at Lello, we feel that we have had a week off not just one day off.
It's a lovely morning here in Leicester, the sun is shining but the forecast is for rain, oh dear!

Everyone is reading their 30+ emails which have come through over the holiday break
and we are discussing our forthcoming Trend Evening which is being held on Thursday 1st October 2009 at TKMaxx in Thurmaston Leicester.
There's a lot to do and a lot to plan, working with local business's to gain sponsorship for the evening. We have all the clothes to choose from TMaxx and Outfit to decide what our models will be wearing on the night, all the chairs and drink to organise, music, slide presentation and lots more. Tickets will go on sale later this week, £7.50 each.
Next week tickets will also be on sale at Jelly Rolls children's wear on high Street in Leicester.

A donation from our ticket sales will go to the charity Lello now supports the 'Make a Wish Foundation' which provides fantastic holidays and makes the wishes of very poorly children come true.
